On the day of Good Friday Jesus Christ was crucified, it is the Friday before Easter. A particular prayer is held on this day with particular analysis from the Gospel. Conventional Christian churches observe Christ's crucifixion as a charitable and sensational act.It is considered the name "Good Friday" is from the English name, "Godes Friday” means "God's Friday."   Celebration
On Good Friday, a cross, which symbolizes Jesus crucification, is exposed in several churches. The customs for Good Friday start on the prior Thursday. A dinner represents the last supper of Christ on Thursday night. The conclusion of this feast is the starting point of the fast for Easter.
A flat timber of wood, symbolizing the cross is kissed by the followers in admiration on this very day. The ceremony continues for the three hours throughout the time at which Jesus tortured on the cross.

 
 
Some followers wear black in mourning and move in a parade with a picture of Christ. The church bells remain soundless and candles do not lit on this day as a mark of sorrow. In some churches, candles are lit, but they are put off one by one, indicates Jesus' move towards death. All the rituals and customs of the day are based on sadness and disgrace that Jesus experienced for the reason of kindness and sympathy. Some churches inspire the people to do some charity. On this day many English speaking countries take hot cross buns. Usually, Catholics are avoiding taking meat on every Friday as apology. But nowadays many Catholics eat fish on this holy day.

Significance
The significance of Good Friday remains in the truth that evil can never be dominated by evil, but only by kindness, aggression by non-violence, revulsion by love for the rival.
