Hair______________________________________
For thick, strong glossy hair the roots must be firm and scalp healthy and well nourished. Nutrients are key to healthy hair, but to be effective they must reach the roots. A balanced diet rich in protein, minerals and vitamins, especially iron, sulphur, zinc, B complex and Vitamin C as well as essential fatty acids is essential for healthy hair.

 
 


To treat rough hair __________________________________ 
Mix castor oil, lavender oil and coconut oil in equal portions. Massage lightly on the roots of hair. Keep for two hours and rinse with any herbal shampoo.

Use as little hair colour and dyes as possible as this hampers the natural health of your hair.

Use less hair driers as this makes hair rough and raises the problem of split ends.
Don't comb wet hair. To remove tangles use a comb with thick tooth. Don't dry hair under scorching sun as this also makes hair dull. Make a solution with one cup of milk and 1 egg. Keep for 5 minutes and rinse off.

 
 

Oil your hair with sesame seed oil twice a week and wash off with a shampoo especially formulated for dry hair. After applying the oil you can also massage in 5 tbs of honey on the scalp and hair and wash off after 20 mins. This can be done once a week and is a very effective form of softening the hair naturally.

 
  Make this hair pack to get soft hair_____

In one cup of coconut milk add two spoon of refined flour, three spoon of castor oil, one spoon of shikakai and amla powder and 1 spoon of honey. Mix well and rub on your scalp for 20 minutes. Wash with reetha water.

Apply a pack of ripe papaya, banana and honey. Leave it on for 40-45 mins and wash off with a herbal shampoo.
