Khichuri |

Ingredients:
3-4
cups Basmati rice , 1/2-cup masoor dal ,1 tsp cumin seeds ,2 slit
green chillies ,500-gram cauliflower pieces ,2 tbsp diced carrots
,1/4 tsp turmeric powder ,1 sliced tomato ,2 tbsp diced brinjal,
1 bunch of spinach, 2 tbsp chopped potatoes, 1 tbsp chopped coriander
,2 tsp ghee
salt, garam masala to taste

Step:
Cook
the rice. Cool and set aside. Cook the dal in pressure cooker.
Add 1/2 cups of water to the cooked dal and beat well. Heat the
ghee and fry the cumin seeds for a while. Add the cooked dal,
cauliflowers, carrots, potatoes, brinjals, spinachs, turmeric
powder and salt and cook it for 10 minutes in a medium flame.
Finally, add the tomato and chopped coriander and wait for a few
minutes. Serve the dal on top of the cooked rice. Spread ghee
evenly on it and add garam masala just before serving for smell.

Ingredients:
Basmati
Rice, Chopped mutton keema (500gram),Moong dal, Tomatoes (2tablespoon),
Onion (2tablespoon) ,Ginge paste(1tablespoon) ,Garlic paste(1tablespoon)
,Green chilli, Garam masala ,Turmeric powder
Coriander powder ,Grated coconut
Ghee

Step:
Roast
moong dal in dry pan till it becomes brown. Cook rice till tender.
Do not drain. Mix 1 tsp turmeric powder, salt with the keemas and
let it to marinate. Heat 2 tbsp ghee, deep fry the keemas and grated
coconut well and keep aside. Light fry the onions till it becomes
golden in colour. Add ginger, garlic and slitted green chillies
along with coriander powder. Fry for 2 minutes. Add tomatoes and
fry till it become softens. Add keemas and stir well. Add cooked
rice and dal. Mix well with salt and cook in light flame for 10
minutes. Add water if necessary in between. Remove from fire and
garnish with grated coconut and whole green chillies on the top.
Keep covered for 10 minutes. Serve hot with optional extra ghee
on the top.
