Garumara Wildlife Sanctuary
The response of the National Park with buzzing shrine bells, archetypal sounding crickets is incredible. Gorumara is exclusive for its multiplicity. This is the most fundamental wandering passageway of the Asiatic Elephant - the legend of this woodland prayed as Mahakal Baba or Lord Shiva. It claims to be the dwelling

for one horned Rhino and the Indian bison. Bird surveillance is one of the most excellent pastimes.

Chilapata
Hidden deep in the interior the Chilapata Forests the ruins of a thousand yeas old fortress of Nal King has a marvelous chronological and archeological significance. On way to Cooch Behar, a journey throughout the deep and dark Chilapata Forest is an enjoyable and thrilling knowledge. Built in the 5th century during the Gupta Empire the remains still remind the reminiscences of the Golden Age of India.
