Nadia is the territory of Gouranga Mahaprabhu. Sanskrit education is an exclusive convention of the region. Sculpture, mainly earthen, is a renowned work out of this locality. Krishnanagar
Krishnanagar metropolis is immediately south of the Jalangi River. It is the headquarters of Nadia district. Krishnanagar is renowned for its mud dolls. The Krishnanagar Palace and the Roman Catholic Church are magnetism of the metropolitan. The sacred spots of Nabadwip, Shantipur and Mayapur are close at hand.

Krishnanagar is the district headquarters situated on the bank of river Jalangi. Krishnanagar is named after Raja Krishna Chandra Rai (1728 – 1782). The Rajbari built here during the reign of Raja Krishna Chandra Rai is a well-known place of traveler attraction even if the leftovers of the precedent splendor have been battered and only a decaying construction of the delicate places with statuette on its inner walls exists in the present day. Krishnanagar

was the origin place of the renowned Poet, creator and dramatist Shri. Dwijendra Lal Roy, whose offerings to Bengali Literature need no mention.

Mayapur
Mayapur is the headquarters of ISKCON. Mayapur is positioned on the reverse of Nabadwip crossways the river Bhagirathi. The ISKCON temple of A.C.Bhaktivedanta, the Saraswat Adwaita Math and the Chaitanya Gaudiya Math are the noteworthy temples at Mayapur. During Holi (DOL) celebration Rashyatra

Chandroday Temple
The temple, set amidst a garden, is a pictorial sight. There are quite little large and little temples as well.

Nabadwip
Nabadwip located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. The grand societal reformer and saint Sri Chaitanya was born here in 1486. Nabadwip is the place of the Vaishnava traditions in Bengal and a primeval centre of Sanskrit studies. Nabadwip was the capital of Lakshman
Sena, the eminent monarch of Sena Empire. There are a

numeral of holy places and pilgrimage centres.Dwadas Shib Mandir with the delicate flowery designs creates a center of attention a large number of pilgrims.
