Zong Dog Palri Fo-Brang Monastery

This was constructed at Durpin Dara by the Dalai Lama. The gompa is famous for its extraordinary pictures in the meditation room. The sights are marvelous from Durpin Dara Hill. sanctified individually by the Dalai Lama in 1976, it contains the Kanguyar, in 108 volumes, brought by the Dalai Lama when he fled Tibet. It is an outstanding view point for flurry and valley views.

Gompas

The Tharpa Choeling Gompa, is situated to down the hill of Tongsa Gompa, or Bhutanese Monastery.The Tharpa Choeling Gompa, which belongs to the Yellow Hat (Gelukpa) division of Tibetan Buddhism. Tongsa Gompa, or Bhutanese Monastery, is the oldest monastery in the area and dates back to 1692.

Mangal Dhaam
"Mangal Dham" is one of the most wonderful temples of India. It is a constructed in 1993 on a celestial remembrance.This recently constructed place of worship is a spectacular piece of manufacture. The holy place has been built in the reminiscence of the late Guru Shree 108 Mangal Dasji. A bountiful acknowledgment would still fall short to a spirit so celestial.
 
 

Dr. Graham's Homes Campus

Sandakphu
Sandakphu, a Himalayan village at 3636 Mts., is the crest of the Singalila range - and possibly presents the most excellent vision of Mt. Kanchendzonga and Mt Everest - at the same time.
The word ‘Sandakphu’ means the 'Height of the Poison Plant', a straight implication to the abundance of the venomous aconite plants. Sandakphu has a marvelous splendor of magnolias, rhododendrons, primulas and other sub-alpine flowers

 
 

Maneybhanjan, at an altitude of 2134 m., is the entrance to the Sandakphu.
Phalut or Falut (3600 m) is the second highest peak of West Bengal. Part of the Singalila Ridge in the Himalayas, it is situated at the border of West Bengal, Sikkim and Nepal.

 
 

Mongpu
It is a small village under the Kurseong Sub-division. Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore came and lived here for the couple of years. The house where he stayed is now a museum, where several private belongings of him are conserved.
