Darjeeling Rangeet Valley Passenger Ropeway
The Darjeeling Ropeway unites Darjeeling with Bijanbari down in the modest Rangeet Valley. A mono-cable sort, with one rope acting both as tractor and carrier, the Ropeway travels at a speed of 6.5 km an hour. At North Point about 3 km from the town. Ghoom Rock

Victoria Falls

Festivals

New Year

Birthday of Dalai Lama
On 6th July Tibetans celebrate the birthday of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. During the first week of July Tibetans celebrate Dzam Ling Chi Sang - Local Deities' Day.

Shakti puja
Nepalis call Durga Puja, as Shakti (Power) puja, when the goddess Durga is worshipped for nine days to devotion the nine diverse forms she comes in.
